I opted for the red and blue, but when I got the package, the red is a little more on the pink side. So, I went for blue on my controller. I will use the red ones on my backup.
The pry bar is key for pulling the controller apart. Take your time, and slide the bar along the bottom side to release the tabs, then you should be able to pull the rest of the panel off without too much effort. Just take your time.
Once the side panels are off, there are two screws on each side, and one screw hiding under the label in the battery compartment. Don't worry, that label is super sticky, and will go back to sticking when you're finished. So unscrew all 5 screws and put them aside.
Now, the top and bottom will separate from the guts of the controller. You can just pull the old joystick off the post. Notice, the post is a rounded rectangle shape. The replacement sticks are, too, but it's harder to tell. Look at the picture, and you can see the orientation for pushing the new joystick onto the post.
When reassembling, I put the battery compartment screw in first, then put the two screws near the buttons in next, then the back screws. The housing just snaps back into place, and voila! Done! Took me about 20 minutes. Enjoy!

I knew it was time to attempt a repair. While doing so, I thought I'd pick interesting colors for the analog sticks to make it fun. I bought the TOMSIN Replacement Joysticks for Xbox One Series X/S Controller in the Nintendo Switch blue/red combo.
The installation was straightforward. Just followed a teardown video on youtube and used the included tools. The tools came in handy to pry the plastic open and unscrew the screws holding the controller together.
Replacement was simple. Just pull off the old analog sticks and pop in the new ones. They fit perfectly and now, I have a controller that feels new and responsive. Great product.

The packaging comes with everything you need to replace your joysticks. Even if you’ve never done it before, it’s not too difficult of a task. Just search the web for a tutorial video in case you aren’t familiar with where some of the hidden screws or tabs are.
I like that this set comes with both a stick prying tool and a pick, as I much prefer the pick. Many other sets only have the stick tool that can be quite flimsy.
