It's nice to be able to put your baby in a shopping cart without having to worry about hard plastic or metal, germs, comfort etc. So this really solves that problem. You don't have to keep them in the carseat and put that in the cart or you don't have to carry them around yourself.
The cover is soft and cushioned so it provides a nice seat. You can wash it so you know that it's clean and you're putting your child somewhere relatively germ free.
It is a bit complicated looking. There's a variety of straps and sections that when looking at it just in your hands or on the floor seems a bit messy. But, when you place it in a cart things come together fairly well. Just wish I had a shopping cart at home to practice setup before attempting to use it for the first time.
