Everything arrived well packaged in a sufficiently sturdy cardboard box. Some light assembly was required and no directions were provided. I was flummoxed as to what two of the pieces were (red circles). However, a quick look at the picture on the packaging indicated that they were wheel covers for the rolling bag. Once they were snapped on, the bag rolled easily around my tile floor. We have yet to try it outside, but I don't anticipate any problems using it on our patio. Grass will likely be a different story, but the bag is lightweight and can be picked up by its handle and easily carried. Speaking of the handle, it was VERY stiff and difficult to pull out the first time. It took at least ten pulls in and out to get it operating smoothly.
It was easy to put everything else together. The clubs screwed together well, and I like how there were two different options for length -- a "mini" for very young kids and a more traditional kid-sized height. The taller one works very well for my 4-year old. Even though this is described as a toddler golf set, my older child wanted to use it too. The taller club looked a little short for him, but he proclaimed it "was fine." The clubs are very lightweight, so there is little chance of injury to anyone or damage to anything if should fling out of someone's hand during a particularly aggressive swing. All of the balls snap onto the front of the bag and can be removed without difficulty.
A couple of minor quibbles: the pieces are in generally good condition, especially since they are plastic. However, there are some rough edges along the top of the bag. I scraped my knuckles when reaching into the bag to get one of the pieces out of it. Also, the "putting green" came folded up, and as such does not lie flat. There are noticeable ridges that the golf balls will not roll over. This isn't a huge issue for us and not the reason why we purchased the set, but it would have been nice to figure out a different way to package this piece -- perhaps rolling it up vs. folding it. Lastly, the provided tees are very lightweight. It is nearly impossible to hit a ball off of one without it going flying. Fore!
