I mostly use earbuds for exercise. Before the pandemic I used them in the gym and now I use them for 30 to 60-minute neighborhood walks and while doing yard work. I’ve also used them once, during the month I’ve been using them, on a long phone call at home when I knew I wanted to be able to move around and do a few things while talking. These earbuds are sweat and water resistant, but I haven’t tested that.
Pros:
· The price is very reasonable for the included features. (Under $75 as I post this).
· I like the case. The earbuds fit perfectly and snap right into place. I haven’t used the wireless charging feature but it’s nice to have that option. I’ve charged mine with the provided USB-C cord. I did charge the buds before using them for the first time and they did need some time to get to a full charge. The light on the case blinked (orange) slowly while charging for the first time. See the included instructions for what the different colored lights mean.
· The earbuds paired almost immediately with my Android phone and they stayed connected. You’ll hear three very quick beeps once paired. I didn’t need to reset the earbuds, but the instructions (mostly pictures) say to just long press both buds for 10 seconds. No app to set up. Just charge, pair, and start using them.
· I was impressed with the audio quality of these at this price point. Clean and clear without any muddiness. For most people these will be all you need in a pair of earbuds.
· It’s easy to pause a song by touching either earbud once. Touch again to restart. There’s the normal slight lag so don’t press again right away or you’ll go forward.
· It’s easy to go forward by touching either earbud quickly twice.
· After a little bit of practice (one walk), it was easy to go back by quickly touching either earbud three times.
· Mic / call clarity is good. It was very easy to make a call and I was told that my voice was clear as long as I had both earbuds in. The other caller’s voice was also clear. To hang up, press either bud quickly twice. TIP: If you need to practice making/hanging up calls and don’t want to bother anyone, call the U.S. Naval Observatory for the time. Google the phone number as my review was not accepted due to including the phone number (I think) the first time I submitted it.
· Large, medium (attached to the buds upon arrival), and small silicone tips are provided. During my first walk with these buds I used the medium tips, but I ended up switching to the small.
· The earbuds easily stayed in my ears throughout my walks. I didn’t have to fuss with them at all. Once I switched to the small tips, I found the earbuds more comfortable. I can very comfortably wear these for a sixty-minute walk. So far I have worn these for a maximum of a little over two hours - I was aware of them but didn’t feel like I had to remove them.
· The Bluetooth (5.2) works well. I walked the length of our house with no issues. I was also able to go into the farthest room in the basement with no issues. Going outside the house I did lose connection once I turned a corner and walked a little.
· The run time was pretty accurate. Using the noise cancellation feature will reduce this.
Cons:
· The instructions could be more detailed.
· No volume control on the earbuds; you’ll need to use your paired device.
· No auto pause feature (your music will keep playing) when you remove the buds.
· Two of the three sounds the buds make when changing to Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), to Hear-Thru, to Off sound the same unless you really listen (pause your music) so it could be difficult for some to tell which setting you’re on. Practice cycling through the three settings if this is an important feature for you. You’ll hear a distinct low chime, then a higher chime, and then the same higher chime with static in the background. If you end up on ANC without realizing it your battery life will be reduced.
Bottom line: These Belkin earbuds are a good value and should work well for most people.

These earbuds by Belkin appear to be well thought out in terms of design, however there are a few flaws that I'd like to mention. For one, the build quality of the case and earbuds themselves is decent, nothing less, nothing more. I would have liked them to be more durable-feeling but for the price that's understandable. After just a week of use, the case already has multiple scratches which are not aesthetically pleasing, but they remain minor scratches and nothing severe.
In terms of the sound quality, I find that these are outstanding. They sound better than my previous pair of AirPods Pro! Sound separation is finely tuned, and it is very immersive whenever I listen to Dolby Atmos-enabled music from Amazon Music.
Overall, I'm really pleased with these earbuds, and from my perspective they're well-rounded and deserve 5 stars, however for the build quality I have removed a star. I recommend these!
