It's definitely a weird experience to get a packet of bath towels and see that familiar "Clorox" logo on the packaging. I guess they're not only making the stuff that cleans, but also the stuff that the cleaning stuff cleans!
This is a basic pair of 100% cotton bath towels only (no hand towels or washcloths), with options of four understated colors to choose from. The "mineral blue" kind of leans towards a pale teal or aqua, but suffice it to say that the color in the promo photo is accurately represented in what I received.
They are a generous size, and have a slightly more squarish look than many towels I've used (they measure 30" x 52", whereas a typical bath towel might be more like 27" x 54"). They are thinner than I expected, which can sometimes mean they'll be sooner to wear out, and definitely mean that they feel a little less luxurious than I might want.... especially for the price. The currently-listed price ($16.50 per towel, 10/16/22) is quite a bit higher than comparable towel sets, which seem to top out around $13 per towel and are typically $10 per or less. I'm not seeing anything here that cries out spending the extra dough for, but time will tell. So, I can give these a conservative recommendation, call it 3.75 stars. If the price dropped to around $10/per, I'd raise it to 4.25 to 4.5. yes, I love "1/4 star" increments. :)
oh, and these towels don't lose color if bleach is used in the wash. Fancy that!
