Bright, Awesome, but has a few flaws

I am giving this 5 starts but I do want to talk about a few opportunities with this.

I bought the purple 360. I do not have the 36 to compare to.
The color is more of a pink color up close. To viewers that are 50+ yards away see it as a light purple.
Brightness levels do not affect this.

I love the settings on the brightness levels and the timers.
Both versions should have this feature though even though they do not. Shame.
In this case you get what you pay for.

The max brightness level after a full charge doesn't last long. Maybe 5-10 minutes before it starts to automatically dim itself down to the next level. Eventually it will Dim down to low setting and then flash when batter is to low.

Honestly at night this wasnt an issue. At pitch dark the low setting was plenty. It is bright like others stated.

We had at least an hour of play time before this was dead dead. We did start out on max brightness. So your mileage will vary. I can see it lasting much longer if you start out at a lower brightness setting and a shorter timer. Our timer was set to 30s. I did drop it to 8s.

We had this at the beach. It flew very well with the wind, the weight was great and it did hit to Ocean Water a few times with no issues. We were quick to grab it though.

Charge time was about an hour. Comes with a very very very short USB-C (Nice!) to USB-C Cable.
I wish it was longer. The frisbee hangs off of the cable off of the wall outlet. Not the greatest but I dont see why you couldnt use a different cable if you have it. For the cost though it should be longer.

At night the settings were easy to see with a little green light next to the setting. Easy to press the buttons. We found every now and then we would accidently push one of the buttons.

Here is what I would like to see improve.

On the edges you see all of the LEDs. This is cool but why not on the rim put a diffuse layer and sub multiple colors of LEDs. The diffuser ring would then carry the color better. A RGB version of this would be sick.
I would also like to see a bigger battery in this thing. Figure how to distribute the weight and double down on the battery.
Add the same settings to the 36 version one in regards to the timer if haven't already.
Lastly, I see the responses but continue to work on a RGB version. There are so many out there. This thing would be sick if it was.

So to round this up... Is it worth the money? That depends on your application and what you need it for.
It held up great with 4 people throwing it in sand and salt water.
Bright and easy to see at night. Flies very well. Seems very strong.
If you are going to use this on occasion then do not spend the money on this. Get one of the glow in the dark brands with the RGB. They are not as bright and durable, but really cool at night and they fly well.
If you are an avid frisbee player / ultimate frisbee player I think you will enjoy this.

I got both a 36 and a 360 UltraLED for me and as a gift to a friend, and was pleasantly surprised by the Glow ring on each of them useful and also adds a cool aesthetic.. I got the green 36 led shortly after they launched and they don't have that feature. About the battery life, yes, it is short.. you do not get to play at full brightness very long, it wears down quickly and I noticed that the newer of each design i got turn on with relatively no moment, like setting it down normally, or carrying it in a backpack or hitting a small bump in the road.. super small quirk about them I found, but they're ultimately the way to go if you need to play frisbee at night, for fun, sport, or even just safety. :)

I got the purple/black tossy with 360 LED for my 12 yr niece and 4 yr nephew. This product was super cool but for some reason the LED lights don't stay consistently even on complete charge. They come on and off for no reason, no pattern, just randomly turns on when you move it a certain way. Maybe I got a faulty one or don't know how to use it properly. But the light, when on is super bright and fun to play with. Neighbors complimented on it too! I would gift again though but check it before doing so.

Update: the disc is motion detected so the light comes on when thrown with enough force.

The brighter one is very much brighter but the less bright is also very bright and if looking for something to throw around to light up the space around you and make easy to catch, the less bright is the best option. But if you want to light up the entire neighborhood, the brighter one is definitely the right purchase to make. Overall great product and very durable. But make sure to charge before use.
