The triangular design looks good on my desk and it's easy to just face the card type I am using. CF on one side and SD on the next.
Transfer speeds are really good and I was pleasantly surprised to see USB-C on the actual device. It comes with a USB SS cable (super speeds for USB 3), but having a USB-C interface is a logical next step to have. These cards can't got to Thunderbolt transfers so SS is appropriate. In other words, the limiting speed factor is the card's read/write speeds. In a BlackMagic Disk speed, I got about 82MB/s in a CF card that is rated at 90MB/s, and about 255MB/s (read) on a SD card rated at 300MB/s. That's quite impressive.
Finally, the value for money is a no-brainer. 6 years ago, I would have had to spend at least $100 for a SanDisk equivalent (made with a robust metal enclosure). At almost a fifth of that price, if I knew about this product sooner, I would have purchased it already. Thus far very pleased.
I did see a review reporting issues with bent pins. That can happen with any card reader if the CF cards are inserted without any care. My gear is getting pretty old, but I still get amazing performance from them. That's largely because I treat my gear with care and respect and, in exchange, expect the best performance. I hope to have this card reader for many years to come.

I needed a reliable reader to go through them all.
This Lexar reader is invaluable.
It even read a larger Compact Flash card that other readers said was corrupted!

In comparison, my Kingston multi-card usb reader (B00VAGX6MW) with the full-sized prograde v90 maxes read/write at 232x228. (Third picture.) (The v90 micro SD's max read/write in the Kingston interface is only 91x84, significantly slower than this Lexar interface. Fourth Picture.)
So yeah, this Lexar reader is about 50MB/s faster than my Kingston reader. My cards are probably not the fastest though, so there may be faster cards available. So, is 20% faster transfer speed than the Kingston worth it? (Hmm....but the Kingston also has CF and MS Duo interfaces...but both are very old and rarely used.)
Another side note: Simultaneous transfer of both slots does NOT allow full bandwidth of each card. This means both slots SHARE a SINGLE full ~300MB/s transfer speed, which means two cards present will operate at 150MB/s each, or less (which is likely). It will not transfer 300+300MB/s, a feature I was hoping for. (The Kingston reader is the same way, with the max total transfer speed about 250MB/s.) It seems the only way around this multi-card simultaneous transfer speed limit is simply multiple card readers.
