This JUUXAAN B-flat trumpet is a great bargain at <$140.
The thing that myself and my child, a very beginner trumpet player, was most impressed with is the brassy sound it makes. It is loud and unapologetically trumpety. Sure it isn't as smooth as all the more expensive trumpets, but this horn impresses when blown. We were able to play in-tune inside the treble clef(according to a phone app), which seems sufficient for a beginner. Also, this is probably the newest trumpet I've received from Amazon--it literally looks never blown before. For something that goes on my mouth, this makes feel very nice.
Of course, there are some issues:
* the rim at the horn looks like it has dirty things stuck in it (from the player's side) at least it doesn't look completely uniformly round and smooth.
* the third valve ring does not attach firmly, the screw doesn't quite do the job and basically has to be tightened every time.
* third valve is slow. This is probably only noticeable when you play 16th notes. I oiled it with various expensive valve oil, washed with soap,dried, re-oiled, still slow (E-flat to E for example.)
* the spring on the water key valves look strange. I think i will replace it with a properly shaped spring.
* there is a red rust spot inside a valve hole. I hope its not the infamous red rot.
* one of the tuning tubes was difficult to reattach after removing (basically the tubes are slightly misaligned as soldered) But once attached, they slide very easily.
Based on the expectation that we play this trumpet 1-2-yrs as beginner, we're happy with it.
