This is a really quality sandbag kit. I've had a number of sandbags over time and this is definitely one of the highest quality we've used.
We got the small bag that comes with an assortment of bags 4,6,8,10,12 lbs. the smaller "internal" bags are really great. The neoprene outer is loose enough that you can grab them to use for lighter weights. They feel really great in the hands.
The fully loaded bag is really great. The handles seem to be really well attached and feel really good in the hands.
I really like the ability with all the assortment of bag sizes to choose exactly the amount of weight you want to use in the bag at any particular time.
In my fitness research, I've found that there is a connection between grip strength and overall arm strength. In short, generally speaking, your arms won't get stronger than your grip can hold. So I'm excited to have fitness gear that is focused on movements that include the need for grip strength.
My only criticism of the bag is that I would really like the weights to fit a little more snugly in the bag or for there to be a way to cinch down the bag so they would not slide around as much in the bag. It's not a big deal but I'd like it if the bag was just a little less floppy.
Overall very happy with the "Hyperwear Sandbag System - Workout Sandbag - Includes Pre-Filled SandBell Kettlebells (Sizes 40lb)". I would love to have the medium and large ones also!
