This is a great little starter set. It comes with everything needed for basic gardening in a small area. It comes with two sets of gloves that have the neoprene exterior so that you don’t get picked or poked, yet they are lightweight and easy to wear. The handles on the tools are very comfortable and have a little indentations for Your fingers so that you can really get a good grip. There’s two sizes of shovels one is wider and one is narrower. And there’s also a small little handheld rake that really breaks up the dirt. All of the tools have eyelets for hanging them and the utility portion is thick gage metal and and cannot be bent with my bare hands. There are two sets of little pruning shears one is a very traditional pruning sheer to cut through small branches and twigs. It is spring-loaded and has a locking mechanism. The other one is very small and is similar to spring loaded scissors. This is perfect for cutting flowers and deadheading. There’s also a nice little canvas bag to carry all the tools around while I’m working. There’s pockets for every tool that’s included as well as any additional supplies and my water bottle that I might be using outside. It has a huge interior pocket that I can carry around fertilizer or dirt or collect trimmings.
Everything came sealed and in a nice box. However it is definitely giftable. If you were to send this/have it delivered, it would be a great housewarming gift.
