Accurate tracker

This tracker is worth the price! However, the subscription is tricky to get in place if you want just the monthly like I did. I wanted to try it out first before I committed to shelling out lots of money in the beginning. I will say the customer support did have patience with my lack of tech savey maneuvering around their subscription plans. We finally got it and then I was well on my way.
The only thing I will say about this product is battery life. I have to charge every 2-3 days but I can live with that. I just wait till my cat goes to sleep and take it off him then. Then it back on him when he is eating or sleeping.
It is very accurate as long as you keep within GPS,tracking. No 2 miles away from it. It gives me piece of mind and I now know where he spends a lot of his time. I love how you can see right where he is "live".

We've been using this product now for almost 4 months and love it! Our wifi reaches pretty far so the battery lasts typically all week. It charges quickly and is ready to go with a full charge in no time. It has been such fun for our family to log into the app and see where our cat has been, where his favorite places to roam, and how many activity points he has racked up! We cheer him on as he climbs the leaderboard. As we all have apple watches we see this as his "activity rings" and love getting glimpses into his cat world.

My only slight complaints have been that the rubber holder is not super sturdy and ripped pretty easily. The package came with two but I couldn't find the extra and the company sent me a few at no charge so their customer service is great! My other issue has been that because our cat uses a breakaway collar he has come home without the unit a few times. Because he has lost it within the wifi zone it was super hard to find the unit because I had to roam our house and property hoping the bluetooth happened to pick it up because it doesn't show a live location within the wifi zone. I wish there was a way to temporarily turn off the wifi zone if you are looking for the lost collar.

Overall an excellent product with great customer service and a lot of fun to use and gives us some peace of mind when our furry friend is outside.

So overall I think it is a good product and works. Here's the honest pros and cons:
Cons: If you have a poor cell gps signal (we get 1 to 4 bars, mostly 2-3 bars on iphone 13), this will "not work" or so intermittently that it is not practically useful. I guess this may apply to other GPS based products too. Most of the time we get the last notification 30 mins to 2 hours ago which is useless. Also cannot use the "live" functionality to locate your pet (one of the main reasons we purchased this) as it just says "no GPS". I think this poor signal problem also causes the battery to drain quickly as it is searching for a signal. We are lucky to get 8-12 hours battery life before having to recharge. Again - not practical. Location accuracy is reasonable, but only to about 10m. You could however use the bluetooth locator if under about 5-10m to track it (if it has come of and been lost for example). Better than nothing, but not as accurate or easy as advertised.
We have tested this in another area with good signal (4bars and up) and we have found much better results with both battery life (2 days) and location tracking.
Pros: The "history" function is really useful to see where your pet (cat for us) has been and the heatmap of favourite spots. Again, not 100% accurate, especially if weak signal, but does give a good idea. The geo-fencing works OK and notifies you, as does the on/off power function. The mobile app functionality is good. The size is OK (we have a mid-sized adult male cat). Would be too big on a kitten. No problem for a dog at all.
I had an issue creating a geo-fence when i first got it. Tech support were quick to respond and resolved the error on their side. Worked fine the second fence i created.
Bottom line: If you have a good to great gps signal, this is a real winner. If you don't, it will be (at best) OK and frustrating - look for something else.

Do I recommend. YES! for me is a peace of mind....battery last about 6 days for a busy Indoor/outdoor cat. Accuracy can be desirable at times specially when is in the safe zone.... When buying get the lost or damage insurance and get their break away collar too.... customer service reply is a day.... replacement takes 7 days to get to you.... and is about 7 dollars including shipping collar and tracker replacement... I wish the tracker was SMALLER bc We already lost each cat tracker. I feel the tracker gets easily caught in fences and things. we own 2 trackers... we have 2 cats.. our cats go for about 4 miles walk everyday. if you get panic attacks or easily scared get ready for the heart attacks you will get hahaha!! =D LOL learn about your cat behavior. I went looking for the lost trackers and play the sound but is so soft we can not hear it. you will have to reach out for a replacement withing the APP. overall we like it! if you dont like it return it. ... as for us...We will keep them. thank you
