Great Looking Charger with Key Element Missing

I like the look, quality is very good. Putting the controller is quite simple. It arrived with the cable to attach to usb on PS5, but if you want to plug into an outlet they really don’t say which block charger would be ideal. I tried my Apple block charger, and controller did not completely charge, even after leaving it overnight. I used Samsung’s with the adaptive fast charging label on it and it worked great. The supplied cable is long enough that you should be fine with it. I like having the charger independent of the console so that the console doesn’t have to be in rest mode to charge the controller.

seems like a beautiful product, but I was an idiot and didnt even check to see if it would work with edge controller. doesnt. RIP

This Charger is compact and efficient. Doesn’t take up extra desk space, controller sits in it perfectly. PC or console gamer this is worth consideration if your looking for a charger.

Nice charging dock, but the included cable didn’t work with mine.

After a few days of leaving my controller on the dock only to find it dead I did some investigating with a wattage tester.

I found that using the Razer included charging cable from either the Controller direct or via the dock, the controller would only charge at around .5 -1.5 watts. This was also not consistent as it would often time drop to 0 for periods of time. Next I used a Nintendo Type C cable I had lying around and observed draw of around 4-4.5 watts consistently. This speed was the same regardless of being plugged into the controller directly or using the dock.

Now that I’m not using the included cable this dock is great!

Definitely recommend to have for ease of charging! Just be careful of the included junk cable.

The charger works great but I started getting a flashing light indicator at the bottom like it wanted to charge but then proceeds to shut off and not charge anything. Leading up to this I noticed my controllers weren't holding a charge. This happened only 3months into having it. I’ve read other reviews and they have the same issue. After troubleshooting the issue it turns out that the cable is at fault. Razor gave a terrible cable that fails often. You’ll have to switch it out with a good one. Although unfortunate, it’s the cheapest option next to charging it off a cable by itself.
