Expensive, but as already mentioned, very thick and durable. Our 95 lb Bouvier has a large mouth with large teeth, loves the toy, and it holds up to his play. Use larger treats to extend the play time.

Update: "Sterling" demands play with this twice a day. The challenge has been to avoid over-treating him. Here are the stages of utilization I have observed as he developed his understanding and techniques: 1) Initial confusion moved into using his LONG TONGUE to remove treats (a technique probably not available to smaller dogs) , which gradually transitioned into 2) ROLLING, which became 3) SNAP ROLLING. As time passes, he now starts using the 4) LOW DROP, bouncing the treats out, moving into the 5) HIGH DROP, and ultimately with the last, reluctant treats, he resorts to his 6) THROW DOWN. It took a couple of weeks for him to learn these styles, but now he uses all of them as the situation dictates, and he continues to be very satisfied with the challenge provided.

This arrived and we rinsed it off (was a bit dusty) and then stuffed a few small bone-shaped treats in it. I think I maybe put in 5 or 6 to start with. They were kind of small, and the moment she took it from me she flipped it over and a few fell out of the opening (but that was my fault, I needed to use slightly bigger treats). But after the first few treats fell out somewhat easily after she flipped the Snoop upside down, she had to really work to get the rest out...and you have to understand, we have a VERY smart dog, so usually these kinds of things only entertain her for about 2 minutes. If that. This time with the Snoop, she’s been going at it for at least 15-20 minutes and STILL has one treat left in there! Her tail has been wagging the whole time, and she’s been flinging it around, chasing it, pouncing on it, chewing on it (and she is also a power chewer and easily destroys most “indestructible” toys), and having a blast! Because it’s tough material but squishy, she’s less likely to break it or tear it - it just moves and squishes as she chews it. Not to say she won’t eventually damage it, but thus far it’s held up well. We wanted to find something to entertain her since she is “social distancing” at home with us and unable to go to doggy daycare on a regular basis like normal. She was getting mopey and depressed, so the vet suggested some toys/activities like this. And the Snoop is a WIN!

Great food/treat dispenser

I have a 6 month old golden retriever who loves the treat dispensing toys. We have accumulated around 15 of these toys and I find myself going back to this one over and over again. It is the best I have found for feeding a meal. It holds a good amount of food- easily holds 1 cup of her puppy kibble plus baby carrots and apple slices that I add to make it more of a challenge for her. The kibble comes out quite easily, but if I wedge two apple slices to block the hole that dispenses treats, it makes it more difficult and takes her a good 20-30 minutes to finish her meal. If I just add kibble, it busies her for 5-10 minutes.
The pros of this dispenser over the others is:
-versatility of handling many sizes of food (kibble, treats, apple slices, baby carrots, dog biscuits, etc.)
-extremely easy to fill and clean
-it is soft and very quiet while she is playing with it
-it is large enough that it doesn't roll under furniture or get stuck under cabinets
Cons:
-It is not a chew toy, so I don't leave her alone with it and immediately remove it when she finishes her meal/treats. It may be ok to do that, but I would worry about her chewing off chunks of the plastic and swallowing it. I have other treat toys I give her when leaving her alone in her crate.
-This would not be good for anything other than dry food or treats. Wet food or peanut butter would not work well.

Overall a great product made by a small company in the USA. I highly recommend it.

If you check some of my other dog toy reviews you'll see some that say "Gone in 15 minutes", "done in less than an hour". And that was with toys that were advertised as for aggressive chewers. I pretty much expected the same from this one, but I'm happy to admit I was wrong. My pupper is a 30lb, Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier/Poodle mix (aka a Whoodle) Toy destruction is her super power, and this toy is her kryptonite. As I said, it's been three weeks of use and not one single gash or torn pieces. My SO uses it to distract while she's working from home and occasionally uses pieces that are too big for her to ever get out (I know, it's not funny. We've discussed it), and still the toy is one piece. And the best part...she's till not bored! So far the only toy I would personally recommend. +++++++Will update if it makes the two month mark+++++++++
