I’m a vlogger, and this camera is small and compact and easy to use! I’ve had it for a few months now and have created several high quality vlogs - I’m a fan!
Quizás pueda ser un poco vieja, sin embargo, sigue siendo una de las mejores gopro por su estabilizador de imagen. Si pantalla frontal ayuda bastante para el vloging.
As an action camera it's great. Picture quality is excellent, hypersmooth works surprisingly well. Overall ease of use is clunky even after the latest updates but nothing crazy until you decide to use it as a webcam.
The GoPro webcam utility direct through usb-c looks terrible. Limited resolution, pixel artifacts, it's just bad. The media mod drains my battery even when turned off. The hdmi out using the media mod looks better as a webcam if you can get it to work. The sequence you have to go through to get it to work while having the usb plugged in for power is very specific, I'm not explaining it here but you can find youtube videos on it. The fact that it's such a hassle is the problem, this should all be very simple and work flawlessly like previous gopro models. GoPro dropped the ball by implementing the media mod. Should've just kept the separate hdmi output stock without the need of an $80 exclusive add on, maybe the media mod could've just been a way to utilize better audio options, but not the hdmi. But hey, they're a small company and gotta make money right?
Like I said as a "GoPro" I can't complain, but I bought this camera also for the webcam potential and for me even with the $80 add on it's borderline useless in that department. Hopefully they take a few steps back and either think more about ease of use, bring back the dedicated hdmi output, or their webcam utility over usb-c gets a massive update and becomes usable one day.
