I just bought it yesterday. And I noticed the temperature of the top of my Xbox is significantly increased after I put this on. It's almost burning my hand. It was never this hot before. And when I tried to remove it, the glue stayed on my machine. Now I gotta spend my day cleaning this mess. And maybe they can never be removed completely.

The rubber plugs are perfect. As far as the dust covers, now I’m no expert on this, but I decided to remove the dust filter covers.

The reason is because I really don’t think Microsoft made the holes that big size just because it looks great. I really think the design was intentional. Look at my second picture with the filter covering half the top. For certain, the right side, air will flow with no problem. However, the left side just doesn’t seem to look like the air will flow AS well. And these consoles will definitely need that flow when games become more demanding. There shouldn’t be any kind of obstruction, not even if it’s a little bit.

I say all that to say, when I am not using my XSX, I will lay the filter across the top to make sure dust doesn’t fall in. But when I’m using it, that thing is coming off.

I’m sure Microsoft’s design team is smarter than me and I don’t want to undermined their intentional design and kill my console prematurely because of it.

Still 5-stars because these filters do what they were made to do. And they do look great. But at what cost down the line is the question.
