I have used this product for my first triathlon race and when I go on runs. Fitting my phone into the pouch seems to test the limits of it's capacity, however, my phone is in the "phablet" category with a substantial case on as well. The weather resistance seems very good but I would not recommend going for a swim with it. The large belt sits well wherever you like to keep it and the strong elasticity is good enough to keep it as high or low as you would like without significant movement. The zipper is a bit stiff but it comes with the territory of protecting the contents from water. The main pocket is not very easy to access while on the bike, if you use gummy or bar nutrition. The loops are easy enough if you are using gel packs. The loops work well to keep gels or chews in place and I have even used it to guide earphone plugs to my phone and out of my way. Have not used/tested the additional shoe ties though they are similar to the ones I currently use and they function well.
Update: During quarantine times I took this product out much more often and started to notice the seam is beginning to fray due to the stress of my phone. I still like the product quite a bit but larger phones may put a bit too much stress on it. This is one of the few products which do have the ties for placing a race number. For endurance sports or events less than a few hours in length (eg sprint/olympic triathlon and marathon distance or less), it will work very well. If you are in the ultra-marathon community, this may not have a sufficient amount of space for your goodies. The reflective parts are holding up well after my initial purchase in October and it is now June though I would give extra kudos for a reflective aspect going all the way around the belt rather than just the pouch side of the belt.
