I love these 52 cards! 26 small and 26 large cards. The colors are vibrant! On one side of the smaller cards is the animal. On the opposite side of the smaller card is the corresponding capital and lower case letter of the animal. I love the lower case "a." Spark used the font children learn in school! Thank you Spark!

I also purchased the "Learn Shapes, Colors & Counting" cards and "Get Moving with Action" cards and love, love, love them, too! I spoke to customer service. They are very friendly and helpful. Excellent service and product!!

Below is a list of the cards:
Alligator, Bear, Cat, Dog, Elephant, Fox, Goat, Horse, Iguana, Jellyfish, Kangaroo, Lion, Monkey, Newt, Owl, Pig, Quail, Rabbit, Snake, Tiger, Unicorn, Vulture, Whale, X-Ray Fish, Yak and Zebra.

Movement fuels the brain, so being able to incorporate movement with learning is a real plus. Animal Matching card floor game does both with the added bonus that you can grade the cards up or down depending on the age of the child. This card game works great for an educational gross motor movement break, especially during these times of virtual learning in front of a computer.

Both the large and small cards are laminated. They are sturdy, visually attractive and an excellent representation of the alphabetical animals. Scatter the larger cards around the room, the smaller set of cards is used in order to match the animals in two different ways. To add a memory/attention to detail component just place the larger cards face down on the floor. Want a fun way to learn how to sequence the letters, look no further. Sequencing in order is not as easy as it appears. I had students who struggled with ABC...XYZ letter sequencing, and this game helped visually.

For your kindergarten and first graders, see how many cards you can remember in a row…...even better act out the cards as you go. Finally, you can compare and contrast the animals….what makes them different what makes them the same. Writing the facts down in two different columns is even appropriate for a second grader. Highly recommended.

I got this for my classroom. The kids enjoy it. The cards are thin but have a protective coating. If you want it to last a while I'd suggest laminating them because the can rip.
The pictures are great and the box is nice and heavy duty.
