So I've been using this for a solid 3 weeks now and I really dont know why ppl are bashing these controllers. Out the box, I was super impressed by the ergonomics of it. I feared that the grip humps would be flat-ish like the hori split pad pro but, nope! These really let me wrap around them more like a 360 controller, just not quite there yet. Maybe the weight of them makes them feel flimsy because they are super lightweight, but that could be another plus. The buttons are not most tactile either but I like the level of where it's at. Two things I'm keeping an eye on are: 1- the left controller allows a bit of flex where it slides onto the switch, but not a deal breaker for me. 2- the taller joysticks dont really allow for smooth operation in fighting games. Maybe if you have longer fingers this might not be an issue. The reason I use the joystick for fighting games with this is because of my only downside to these, and that is that the d pad is not the smoothest thing when it comes to transitional movements required in fighting games. I think if you are a heavy fighting gamer, this might not be for you. However, for everything else where exact direction is needed from the d pad, then this handles those games perfectly. I play a lot of single player on my switch and this has knocked it out of the park. Now that Apex legends is coming to the switch I am eager to test this out in there. I will edit this review after i try it there. My main problem was having a good grip on the switch in handled without having my hands cramp up after an hour or less, and these have really knocked it out of the park. So far they're my favorite and I really want to upgrade to the wireless versions but only for the aesthetics of the joystick lights. So until this breaks, I'm glad I gave these a try.

BEWARE. These bricked my Nintendo Switch. I love the feel, and they worked amazingly for a few days, but I would always take them off during long periods. I left these joycons on overnight last night and now my switch won’t even power on, charge, nothing. And now I have to send my switch in for repair. I have tried everything to get it back up and running, and nothing. I originally loved these joycons, and they’re very comfortable. But clearly there is something not compatible with these and the tech inside can fry the inside of the switch. I’d stay away. I may try the Wireless ones and see if maybe these wired joycons are drawing way too much power and the switch just bricked. But these specific ones clearly aren’t safe for the switch. I hope this helps anyone else, because now I’m going to be out a replacement fee and possibly my data on the switch.
Thought only the regular joycons suffered from drift? think again. Had these for all of 7 days and the drifting started in the right(red) controller. I have a pair of regular joycons that work flawlessly so it isn't my switch. I returned these and am going to get them replaced with another pair, i will give these a second chance and will update my review after if i manage to use them for a month without an issue arising.
UPDATE 2/26/2021: It's been 11 days since my replacement arrived and again, the right joystick has started to drift. These aren't worth it, save up and get a hori split pad pro or Binbok's wireless version of these controllers, as those seem to have better quality control.

I tried it for about 2 hours so far. The battery life seems to be fine because it feeds off of the system itself. It's not wireless like the LED version. The plastic seems okay, not the best but it good enough. The the only buttons that seem clicky are the T and M buttons and Left and Right Bumper but it's not a big deal. The D pad is good, doesn't seem to have any issues. I like the thumb sticks. I will update as me and my kids put more wear on this controller.
I tried a number of joy con alternatives for my Switch but nothing felt right to me. I saw a lot of videos recently on YouTube talking about these controllers and figured I would give them a try. My experience so far has been very pleasant. They are very comfortable in my bigger hands, just a tad bit warm during longer playing sessions. The buttons are responsive too. For the price you pay it's hard to beat. I specifically purchased the wired version so I'm unsure about the more expensive wireless ones. However, I'm sure those are great too!
