I really wanted to like this keyboard, in pictures it really looks great. Setup was easy, and looked great on my desk. (sound bar is weird, not sure why manufactures think that is a good idea)

My problem was that it was not a silent keyboard. Much louder then I was looking for, I had hoped the new switches would really cut down the sound and they did not.

Second issue that I had was the gaps between the keys. I didn't realize but when gaming my fingers float close to the keyboard and with this keyboard would catch myself in the gaps between the keys. Turns out for me a keyboard deck is something I really need.

So back to my Logitech k740.

I've been through basically all of the gaming keyboards now. I've felt the top echelon each brand has to offer i.e. Razer, Corsair, Logitech, Steelseries.
The only other keyboard that I think comes close to this one is the Apex Pro TKL, but this one is still better.

Pros:
1. Switches offer just the right amount of feedback, so you aren't always making mistakes when typing on these very, very smooth linear switches.
2. The stabilizers are very good on these switches.
3. The feeling of the actual keycaps are pleasant. It just feels good to type on these switches. They have a nice bounce back to them that make them feel more responsive than other keyboards.
4. The RGB on this keyboard is far and away the best of any keyboard out there. There are other keyboards with brighter lighting, like the Apex Pro TKL, but the AIMO intelligent mode on this thing is unreal. It kind of just slowly and smoothly mixes the colors in and out on your keyboard. It's hard to explain, but it's easily the most pleasant rgb experience of all the keyboards I have had.

Cons:
1. ABS keycaps. Okay- so this doesn't matter to me this much, but these are ABS keycaps and they most definitely DO collect a lot of oil so, if you spend a lot of time looking at your keycaps for some reason, be prepared to clean them often.
2. Height- this keyboard is not low profile by any means. You will want a wrist rest with this keyboard. I bought a glorious wooden one and it wasn't too bad that way. I prefer using the one that came with my apex pro tkl though and it works perfectly.
3. The ping. This bothers some people apparently. It's there and you'll notice it but if you wear headphones, even open back ones- it's basically a non-issue. I like the sound otherwise.

Differentiating with the Apex Pro TKL, the keys on this keyboard are a little heavier but just as smooth. It's easier to make typos on the Apex Pro TKL because the keys are so light. Now, that can be taken care of by changing the sensitivity of the keys on the Apex, but I don't like messing with that all the time and prefer to keep the sensitivity high. That means it might not even be an issue for you.
Also, because the keycap design on the Vulcan TKL Pro is so different, it might be hard to find replacement keycaps for it. I put some Razer PBT keycaps on my Apex Pro TKL and it feels great. Took care of the ABS shine and everything.

Overall though, I spend my time using the Vulcan because I love the typing experience and I find the lighting very tasteful and pleasant.
