Very Disappointed

These are the only covers that I’ve ever used on all of my iPhones and I guess it’s time to look for a different brand. The Candy Shell covers used to have a shiny coating that created an awesome grip, and now with this “soft touch” crap the phone slides right out of my hands. Doesn’t someone test these things??! I don’t know if they’re getting cheap and don’t want to use good material, but this is awful and frustrating. They should seriously inquire what their customers think, maybe the cases would be made better.

This is a high quality case with a nice feel and none of the little signs suggesting that it’s of lower quality.

When I got it though I was a bit sad that the coloring of the “red” accents aren’t how they appeared to be in the product photos. The color is more of a reddish orange or salmon color than actually red like it was pictured. I’ve put it on my product red iPad Smart Cover to make a comparison. If you don’t mind the orangish red then this case will be great for you but for me it’s a bit unfortunate.

I’ve always owned Speck cases but there seems to me major problems with all of their cases. I passed on a lot of their cases because of the reviews. This one looked promising plus I was desperate to get a case on my new phone. The iPhone 12 Pro Max by itself has zero grip. Very disappointed in this case and speck for dropping the ball. I would not recommend this case unless you specifically was t this to slide in your hand. I will probably end up scuffing it with sandpaper but I don’t have much hope of success.

Solid low profile case

Solid case, with speck reliability. I was worried with the thinness there wouldn’t be protection but thankfully it’s sustained a few close call drops.

The only thing I don’t like is the camera bump, I’d personally rather have the case made flush to compensate the camera bump.
