What can I say? It’s exactly what you would expect from a pair of Ghosts. These are a bit easier on the joints, but nothing ground breakingly different. If you normally get the ghosts, go right ahead. If you’re looking for a neutral trainer, you can’t go wrong with these.
These shoes want to run right off my feet and leave me trying to catch up. Wore them on a slow 2 mile run and could feel right away they're built for speed. The next day I wore them on a 10k trail race and my feet felt like I had been wearing them for months and already knew how they'd react to every odd landing on a rock or tree root. With all the cushioning they've still got great feel for whatever surface you're on.
I have to be a little conscious about my foot strike as I found my heel hitting a lot but it's very easy for me to correct and keep a mid foot strike.
I've never spent $130 on a pair of sneakers before but I'm glad I did for these. They are my dedicated running shoes now (sorry New Balance, but these are better). If I can get at least 300 miles of running out of these Brooks will have a long term customer in me.
