The Quest should come with these, but since it does not, make sure you buy them immediately when you place your VR order.
Here's the deal; the Quest comes with a foam facial interface, which is just fine, until you are ready to hand the headset over to someone else. After about 30 minutes on Beat Saber, the foam interface gets a little (in my case a lot) sweaty, but with the silicone covers, it's all good! Just pop the cover off and replace it with a clean one before you hand it over to your buddy. NO SWEAT GETS ON THE FOAM!! It takes less than a minute to make the switch, and the multiple colors help everyone to keep their cover separated. Once off the facial interface, the silicone rubber cover is easy to clean and ready for the next adventure. Initially, I was worried about comfort, but the silicone is soft and I immediately preferred the feel compared to wet foam.
A great value too! I have used and cleaned mine many times and there is no sign of wear, damage, or stretching.
