I've used the similar "High & Mighty" hangers for many years now and they've worked well for hanging artwork on the wall, but I've always been a bit annoyed at how much the bracket extended up from the point where the photo frame rests on it. I got a lovely framed print for Christmas with the hanging bracket mounted on the relatively thin frame, and with the H&M picture hangers it was going to be very obviously showing above the frame when hung on the wall. So I was thrilled to find these small 3M Claw hangers. The size I bought (15 lbs) has the mounting point right at the top of the bracket, so once the frame is hung on it, it doesn't show (even with a pretty narrow frame like the one I needed to hang!)
I gave the foam marker a try and it just seems kind of gimmicky. Maybe this is more useful for frames where the hanging point is not right at the edge, or if you have multiple hanging points, but for a single point that's more or less at the top edge of the photo, it's an unnecessary step. Installation was very easy- just pushing it in without any tools, just as advertised.
