Bill is best

Bill is the best. He has an entertaining, informative and comfortable style of writing. As an author myself, I was once told there were people like him who could sit down and write a first draft and call it good. I bet he is also a good keyboardist. Bill’s sister was a classmate and no doubt he must have either by observation, training or osmosis learned his trade from his father.

The good news: it’s serious. The bad news: it’s a very serious subject. The good news: the author wisely doesn’t bring his sense of humor to bear.

Concise and fascinating. Bryson's short book puts the relationship between diseases and humans in perspective. It made me want to read more on the subject.

Very informative especially today. All of this is important during the pandemic. Bill Bryson makes anything readable. I recommend this book to everyone.

Bryson never ever disappoints. He brings very complex ideas and information down to the masses in ways that people can understand and relate to making his work very “shareable” even in the most casual of friendly conversation.
