Loud is Great. Quite, not so much.
I needed a small amp to drive an FRFR speaker with some tone control to adjust for room acoustics, without overly coloring the sound. It does that very well. On stage, this would be great. Problem is, I also need it for quiet practice at home. At low levels, the fan noise is very annoying. So much so that I returned it and got a Quilter Tone Block 202 instead. Although the Quilter is capable of more, the way I use it, I basically paid an extra $100 to have the fan removed. There should be another option that doesn't require moving down to something with a noisy external power supply. Replacing the amp and speaker with a Line 6 powercab or similar, may have been a better choice.
