This bag is a tight fit for a Starcaster. You HAVE to remove your guitar strap or it won’t fit and even with that it’s still a tight fit. I’d still recommend this bag.

Thin padding, zero neck support

It was hard to find a gig bag that is long enough to fit a Jazzmaster guitar. There wasn't much to choose from, in fact there was nothing else to choose that I could find. So this will have to do, but there isn't much padding, and it is still a pretty tight fit in length and very little wiggle room inside the bag. There is no support either, just slide guitar inside, nothing to go under the neck of the guitar.

This is a perfect fit for my Jazzmaster, and even nicer and thicker than I expected. While not the same level of protection as a hard case, this is more than enough for most people unless you are gigging regularly with multiple guitars. I loved this huge front pocket that I used for extra sets of strings and the Jazzmaster tremolo arm. Highly recommended.

I'm really glad I bought this gig-bag. A week earlier I had bought a Fender Squier Starcaster guitar. I searched Amazon for a bag to carry it safely. Most weren't the right size, so reading the reviews from people who bought this one I was pleased to read that this one would fit the Starcaster. I recommend the purchase, you will not regret it. Excellent material and excellent finish. Five stars with praise!

I bought this for an offset body guitar I made and it worked out fine. This one does feel like it might have more padding than whats typically offered.
