I bought these to hold sand that I place inside Agility Tunnel Bags. Most folks who have agility equipment place gravel in their tunnel bags and jump weight bags because water gets in and stays in the sand, making the tunnel bags and jump weight bags even heavier to move around. I decided to save $$ and go with playground sand instead, which was half price at the time. I decided to use flood control sandbags to help keep the sand drier. I also use some cheap watertight grocery bags that I placed these sandbags filled with sand into to use for holding down jumps. So far, no water has crept into the sand inside my tunnel bags or the cheap grocery bags to cause them to become heavier.

These are sturdy sandbags, and they were far less expensive than the ones at Lowe's or Home Depot. I filled each one only about halfway full, to make sure I could actually lift them. They held up fine during the entire hurricane season, and most of them got wet with heavy rains (fortunately, no serious flooding). My only complaint is that the ties don't seem to stay in place very well. When I lifted the sandbags, the ties were slipping up over the tuft, almost coming off. I tied them pretty tightly, but the ties are slippery material and they're on the slippery material of the sandbags... so they don't want to stay put. I suppose you could make an extra effort and staple them shut.
5.0 颗星,最多 5 颗星Good bags, but these sidewalls are a little limper than others.

I like these bags. Well made and I'm sure they'll hold up for years. But we bought similar bags that are white, and while shoveling sand into them we found that the white bags don't need to be held open while filling. These green bags DO need to be held open or the sides droop over. So one person has to hold the bag while the other shovels. Course, the white bags are also blindingly ugly when set out, while the green bags blend in really well (We're using these for target backstops).
Filled about 20 some with sand mix from bags that there falling apart other with dirt rock mix and more with a pea gravel. In the winter I put up a portable garage for the motorcycle, the sand bags go around to hold the whole thing down and keep it more weather tight. The green color looks better than the white.
