my display on the reverse side of this microphone stopped working in under 24 hours without being dropped or mishandled. i couldnt have babied this thing anymore. but it was so visually pleasing when it was working at first. i tried everything. unplugged/plugged the mic back up, still problem. uninstalled/reinstalled all razer software. problem still existed. powered down the entire computer, restarted, u name it. problem never solved. i dont know if its just me, but ive never had any luck with razer products. gotta call a spade a spade.

Love the goose neck also comes with a smaller stand. It was pretty much plug and play I had hard a time getting the companion app to work at first but I needed to update my razor synapse app and that was why. The last time I bought a Razor product was in 2017 and I had not updated synapse since than. I don't buy Razor all the time because they tend to be on the pricer side but I have never been disappointed with thire products. My Man O war gaming head seat I have had it for four years now and it still work just as if I had gotten it out of the box. The sound quality on the serin emote is so much better in my opinion than on serin X which I thought sounded basic. I can't wait to host my twitch channel with this new microphone. Super excited.

Stopped working

I loved this mic, it was really nice and sleek looking and had great sound quality. I ordered my wife the same one because she wanted one. Hers works fine. Mine on the other hand? The light show on the other side of the mic stopped working completely. I couldn't get it to work. When it did work it would be a box of white pixels on the mic. Now the display doesn't work at all. That was fine, I didn't really need it to work I guess. After maybe a month of the display breaking and just not turning on at all. (Yes I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, tried different cords, tried different ports, had razer synapse, and the stream companion app, tried updating the drivers and trouble shooting online nothing worked.) The sound started messing up as well, it would do a bad screeching sound and I would have to unplug it to fix it. It started doing it on stream to the point where if I unplugged it it didn't stop at all, broken completely now. So I'm stuck with a $140 lump of plasticy metal that no longer works. Thanks Razer... I recommend this when it works. But if your display stops working, return it for a new one because there is NOTHING you can do to fix it.

Disappointed streamer

I’ve had this for a few months now and I am very disappointed. It was working great for 2 weeks. Noise cancellation on this microphone is pretty great but for some reason I was getting a really loud buzzing noise. It was go away for days then come back and it would be un useable. I’ve looked up to see if it was a software problem like drivers or something to do with razor synapse but no luck. I’ve googled this problem and many others have it but few find a solution. Could’ve been a great mic

Razer Streamer Companion Issues

So if you decided to buy this mic to take advantage of the streaming features on it, don't waste your time. The software doesn't even install no matter what you do (Razer Streamer Companion App).
Which is required to take advantage of all the twitch interactivity that this stupid thing was boasting. Razer doesn't know whats wrong with the software making their customer support team absolutely clueless and unhelpful.
Aside from the terrible software required to use the device to its fullest potential, the mic was DOA and wouldn't even work other than the lighting system.
