Great for smaller framed female that needs a sturdy backpack with lots of space

I’m a 5ft 3’ stay at home mom. This backpack is perfect for my two toddlers stuff, and my basics. We use this everyday. Not bulky ( I wear it) fits plenty of extra clothes, diapers wipes, drinks, snacks, even our lunch. Used it at Disneyland too. Perfect convenient size fo me

I bought this bag for my 5 year old. He is average size for his age. It fits his regular size supplies. Big enough to use all through elementary. It looks amazing and is an awesome book bag for any kiddo!

I was looking for a small backpack because I don’t like to carry a huge, full-sized one while hiking short distances. This is perfect. It’s not too small. I’m a smaller framed woman. It fits my bulky camera, batteries, small first aid kit, tissues packs, etc with plenty of room left. It has 2 side pockets and big front mesh pocket you can use to carry waters or other items to access easily. I’m not sure of the quality of how it will hold up long term yet. But the north face usually makes good products.

This is such a great backpack, not too big. I’m a petite person who is a little over 5 ft tall. It doesn’t look too small on, it’s actually a perfect size. I am so amaze how there is plenty of room to hold my toddler’s items such as a couple of outfits, jacket, pair of shoes, snacks, water bottles (a few), little toys, my huge wallet, and other items. It may look small, but it holds a lot.

I think it will also be perfect for a short hike and more comfortable than a sack backpacks. The sack backpacks leaves marks / cuts on my shoulder even though I don’t have a lot of items and this is not the case with this North Face Backpack. It’s very comfortable, doesn’t pull on my shoulder.

Quality is great and you know it was last for a long time… worth spending the money.

A Go-to School bag for the Kids of Lower Grades!

This is the 2nd Youth Recon Squash I bought for my 1st Grader. The first one my boy used as a school bag for two semesters, there is no worn out in the areas like the bottom corner. It looks like the backpack could serve a few more terms before it has to be replaced. North Face uses high quality fabrics for the backpacks, and all the zips goes smoothly. Comparing to the other popular name brand I bought for my boy, it develops small worn out at the corners after being used for one term. Also, the design of the compartments makes it a functional school bag just right for the elementary school kids, especially for the ones between Kindergarten and 3rd grade.
