Don’t do many reviews but needed the share my thoughts on this device. It’s a 100% product - I finally decided to pull the trigger and purchase the Luna 3 here after eyeing it as well as the 2 for quite some time. I don’t use the app much although it helped me at first familiarize myself with the device and learn techniques for using it correctly and at the right levels. I definitely recommend the Luna 3 over the 2 not bc of the app but due to the significantly larger surface area of the tiny bristles - the larger size is perfect not only for the forehead but around the chin and upper neck. My skin unfortunately is highly dry, reactive and super flaky (sometimes due to patches of atopic dermatitis/ eczema) despite the crazy hot weather and humidity when I started using it about a week ago. I’d already given up on the Clarisonic years ago (tried 2 different brush heads including the most sensitive) as well as the Zoë since they were both way too harsh for my skin and while they exfoliated it, they only made the flakiness worse. The Luna 3 was recommended to me by both my Derm and a trusted friend who’s been a renowned esthetician in SF for over 20 years and known for sensitive and natural cruelty free skin care. I was blown away immediately at how it gently yet effectively removed the flaking completely and left my skin as smooth as silk. Unlike with the Clarisonic (and the Zoë which to me is an inferior knock off), it primed my skin so that my serum and moisturizer actually sank into my skin without starting to pill 5 minutes later due to not penetrating the epidermis. It’s admittedly a very pricey device even with Amazon’s currently discounted price but worth every penny!! It’s been a total game changer for my skin care routine (and sanity) and I have full confidence in recommending it.
