I have worked with a lot of different vinyl and I really liked this one. I bought a white 12x60 roll for some girl scout cookie shirts I was making. It cut great, weeded fast, and was not super thin nor super thick. I really really like the protective film as this is the only brand I have seen come with this! It pressed nice and even tho I always press my items twice the 1st press seemed to adhere nicely in the fabric and was able to see the thread marks thru thru the vinyl like it should. Vivid Vinyl has always sold me quality vinyl and this brand did not disappoint. Will buy again!
I've reviewed this before and it was a 3 star feedback before. Now it is a 1 star. The last vinyl I ordered looked different. I thought it was a better quality but it was terrible. Very hard to weed, it came with no instructions and it was really hard to peel the backing off without pulling off the already pressed design. I am disappointed.
First, I was nervous because of the other reviews being mixed. But am glad I did 1. They have a special liner on the side you cut on that has the instructions. You peel the instruction liner off then lay on your machine and cut. I used the same cut settings for siser plain htv and it was good. Weeding was easy as well. I thought maybe I messed up because it didn’t seem shiny but after I weeded and used the heat press it was great.
Def would recommend. And def purchasing again..as long as they keep the prices the same.
This particular roll of vinyl gave me a challenge. it was easy to cut with my Cameo but weeding...that was a another story. It did not weed easy, some parts of my design I had pull with more force than usual. Then when it came to pressing (I have an Cricket Easy Press) (it is really nice btw), use the recommend time according V2pro recommendations, and it STILL did not stick. Even repressed for a longer time...NOTHING! The design was ruined, and so was the shirt.
