* Controllers slide into the 4 long slots on the unit, and no need to push the un-lock button when you pull then out.
* FYI: Does NOT come with a Wall adapter (fixed cable to unit) because it's designed, from my testing/observation anyway, for a standard USB port (5v:500mA), like the ones on the Switche’s dock.
-1 star:
* I plugged it into a USB port that can output up to 3A, but it only pulled at most, for me, 0.41Amps, and this is with 2 joy-cons and 2 NES controllers in the unit, all needed charged.
* Since each controller you plug into the unit, charges at most ~0.200 Amps, that means it's made/designed to only charge 2 at a time, even though all 4 lights are red, stating there charging all 4 at the same time, a quick look at the 'controllers menu' only shows 2 are really charging at any time, so -1 star for false advertisement/info.
* Still haven’t exactly figured the priority order, but the last 2 you put into the unit seams to get higher priority/charging from my quick testing.
Conclusion:
* Great product that is compatible with the NES controllers, and will keep all my controllers charged and ready for play time, anytime.
* I hope this information helps others, since some of this info is NOT on the page at all.

Slightly faulted but worth it. When I place 2 joy cons on they charge fine. However when I place 4 joy cons on only 2 charge. The position of what charges shifts.

The biggest problem with this is it only seems to charge 2 JoyCons at a reasonable rate. Similar to the other reviewer's comment, my Switch only indicates 2 charging at any given time depending on when it was inserted. I do believe this is a design flaw/choice since my other JoyCon dock shows them all charging at the same time. I've plugged the USB plug into the Switch dock directly and into a separate USB charging hub and it behaves the same.2020年9月25日 在美国审核
The physical design is decent and it had the most important feature for me which was that it could fit the classic NES joycon. It is very light so you will have to hold it down when removing JoyCons.
My rating is based on when charging 4 controllers, it is charging 2 so slowly the Switch doesn't even recognize it as charging, and I am worried about the charging scheme damaging the JoyCon battery since it is charging it without the Switch recognizing that it is charging. I get that the description says that it charges 3-4 slower, but I figured the Switch would recognize them all as charging at least.

I have had this docking station for a little while now and like it quite a bit. Though I am up in the air about a few features it doesn't take away from the fact it does charge the controllers.2021年4月23日 在美国审核
- When the controllers are docked it will only charge 2 controllers available time when I view them from the controller section of the switch. (when you un-dock one controller and dock another controller it will charge the two most recent controllers that have been docked until completely charged before it charges the others)
- the lights seem to be timed than actually turning green when it is actually charged. (When I take them off and put a fully charged controller on it will be red again.)
-regardless of that it does charge all of the controllers.
All in all despite the fact that it "APPEARS" to only charge two at a time and the lights seem to be timed, I bought one for my niece for her birthday. For the price and what I want it to do, it has served its purpose and held up very well, and my family has used it every night.
