My husband and I purchased these boards for paddling on rivers and springs. He is most comfortable kayaking, but wanted the ability to stretch out his legs more than he can in a regular kayak. I prefer SUPs to kayaks, but like having the option to convert the board into a kayak for paddling in areas with stronger flows. We also have limited space for storage, so this iSUP seemed like the best fit for us. We enjoyed our first trip with these boards. They felt very stable and were easy to maneuver even in narrow areas.

Following our first trip, we discovered a leak near the valve in one of the boards. The customer service department worked with us to try to identify and fix the leak. After troubleshooting with customer service, it was determined that the board needed to be replaced. The company worked with us to send a replacement and get us back on the water. Our experience with customer service was very positive and we highly recommend this iSUP for those who like having the option to switch easily between paddle boarding and kayaking.

Quality board... maybe not for beginners.

To be 100% fair, I'm a complete beginner to SUP. Prior to purchasing the boards I had a total of 1 hr. experience 10 yrs ago.
The boards came with everything as described and the quality matched the accessories of my friends boards from top name brands. The board itself had no external defects a once inflated to 15 PSI. I didn't notice any flex. (I'm 5'9" and 230 lbs.)
The shape of the board seems to be where my issues started, the nose is pointed and the taper begins at least 3' from the nose. The center only being 30" and a tapered rear made the board very unstable for me. My wife is a 100+ lbs. lighter and still found riding the board more challenging than some boards of similar length.
We decided to return the boards in favor of some wider more stable boards, and in my case longer also.
I would recommend these boards to more advanced and smaller riders, the quality was better than anything we saw in the price range.

I wrestled with Bluefin for many weeks trying to get them to acknowledge this bubble was not normal. They at first said it is normal for iSUP's to have these types of bubbles. I did not agree. They finally, after about 15 email exchanges, said I could return the board but could not tell me when, if ever, I could get a replacement. They said they were back-ordered. I finally gave up. I had someone locally help with the repair. They won the battle but lost a customer. I actually like the board, but the customer service wore me out! UGH!!!

We ordered two Blu Fin boards and have nothing but great things to say about them so far!!! We have tried them so far in some lakes and a river!! We have used both the standup and kayak options and my husband has even been trout fishing from the board!!!
Customer service is amazing!!! I had to contact them twice, and both times Lauren was awesome!!! Quickly responds and provides all the information that you need!!! I highly recommend these boards!!
The only issue we had, doesn’t even have to do with the birds themselves. The labels on the air pumps seem to melt in the heat and we have gotten black ink inside our travel bags and on our hands but we have since covered the label with duct tape. (That has not reflection on the quality of this bird though) Truly a great board and we have so much fun with them!!! The fact that we can throw in the car and blow them up when we get to a great spot is perfect!!!

Everything you need to get started paddle boarding is included. I can inflate it in 10 minutes (I just inflate to 12 psi and that's plenty to support me on the water), pack up in 5. Awesome, roomy backpack included that everything fits into easily and you can even throw gloves and a life jacket in. Handles great on the water, very solid. I love that it converts to a kayak as well and you can carry everything on the SUP to convert back and forth between SUP and Kayak. I've been riding mine for 1 month and the only issue is that on 3 occasions when I disconnected the pump, it opened the valve and let most of the air out. I was able to reinflate and then it disconnected fine. That's 3 of about 20 rides, so not bad at all.

If you are used to solid SUP, be aware that inflatables are a little trickier to balance on, but once you get used to it, it's actually a lot more fun to ride than a solid board. Just be ready to fall in a few times as you get the hang of it.
