This navy blue Casio is another great timekeeping piece from this long-time digital watch company. The fit is comfortable and the band supple; you don't have to fight it to clip and buckle. Lke many other Casios in this 1980s retro-like series, it keeps near perfect time. Casio states it will keep time to within +/- 30 seconds per month; so far it's operating within that spec. The alarm is the loudest of all the digital Casios I've owned in the recent past. Many years ago, Casio had alarms as loud as this watch; but alarms have diminished in volume over the years. Not this little navy blue duck. The alarm is loud enough to wake me when set for an morning BEEP-BEEP-BEEP..., and the hourly time signal is equally as loud, i.e., it works as it should. Oh! And the on-board light is bright and can be easily read in even in a far less than pitch-black room. The caveat here is, the light works only when you depress the lower right button--it's instant on/off. I'd like to have it stay illuminated for 3 to 5 seconds with one press, but we can't have it all... However, if you find yourself in a place of international intrigue, you can use the light and responsive button to send signal-light code or lighted Morse code that can easily traverse 30 to 50 feet of clear, uninterrupted air.
The watch has an alarm, and stopwatch, that's it! it's spartan with respect to functions, but does all a runner/walker or person who needs a timekeeping-device-and-then-some to do. And the navy blue resin band and case are really nice a true, deep, navy blue, almost approaching black in low-lite environments.
Handsome watch, great color, useful features--no body-fat on this lean e-machine.
3 Weeks Later--Accuracy:
After three weeks of checking accuracy, my watch has been happening one second per day (per 24 hours). The prose Casio has on thw watch's writeup of correct: Casio watches are accurate to +/- 30 seconds per month.

Me gusto mucho y la pantalla facil de leer ,la luz es intensa .aun no lo simergo en agua pero como todos los casio espero no falle. ...ya casi paso un año regreso a este post y les comento q me comprare otro pues este ya lo raye demasiado,agua salada petroleo todos los dias en la ducha y aun ni se ahoga. Buenisimo
