Overall I really like the bag and the way it looks on the bike. I commute daily on a BMW K1600 with side bags and top case, but I wanted something smaller and more "sporty" that i could carry things to/from work in lieu of the hard bags, and it needed to be rain proof. There were multiple bags from which to choose but i opted for the Kurakyn because I have another Kuraykyn bag that has held up really well. My only disappointment with the bag is the "tethered rain cover" that isn't really tethered. My other Kurakyn bag does have a "tethered" rain cover that won't separate from the bag should it come loose, however the Momentum Drifter rain cover has a small velcro tab they consider a tether. There is no way that should be called a "tether" and for that I'm taking away a star in the rating. The good news is, there is an elastic drawstring that allows you tighten the rain cover; the bad news is, the straps used to secure the bag to the bike prevent the rain cover from fully wrapping around the bag so over time wind will most likely creep under the bag and blow the rain cover off - GOOD BYE RAIN COVER! Having said that, for now the rain cover is new and the elastic is tight and on my ride home today in pouring rain the cover stayed secure at speeds over 90 mph (when I got to areas where there was no rain).
I might buy this bag again but if someone stole it tomorrow I'd probably get another one and I'll definitely confirm the rain tether is permanently attached. It's only a matter of time before it gets lost.
