I had to get an exchange on my initial purchase of this when I ordered the first one the leather on the cover arrived cracked on the back and had what looked like black ink blotches throughout the front and black, I ordered a replacement which was ok that arrived fast but the inside seemed to have some sort of dust as dried leather bits on it which are still coming out of the holder today despite having it for over a month in it that was being left on my pen every time I put it in there. I had to eventually stop using it as it left long and very fine scratches on my Pilot Falcon. I found this out when I had put my pinky finger into the pouch and the leather inside both pens is incredibly rough and dry. I had ordered a leather case from DiLoro before and I love that one it’s a single pen holder and it’s soft all around. This one has ruined my favorite and most expensive pen. On top of that due to this whole virus thing going around I don’t have time to return the original one I ordered which led to me being charged twice. I’ll see if I can return the 2nd one. Personally I will be staying away from this company from now on. Now I may have just won the worst 2 cases in the lot lottery with these but this is my experience.

Great Fountain Pen Case

A great fountain pen case. As per the picture, I use these when transporting some of the more expensive pens. They will fit everything from a TWSBI Vac Mini to a Pelikan M1000. Even the Visconti fits with no issues. I would, and have bought again.

Tight. Damaged pen in removing it from case. Take care to stretch holder before using.

This sleeve may be too tight for a wider pen, and may damage the pen if you do not stretch it out beforehand. I slid my Pelikan R400 (not without some pressure exerted) into the sleeve, wedging it in tightly. When I tried to pull it out, the top of the cap and the pocket clip broke off. I was able to superglue the cap together, but not perfectly, and I cannot not rely on the integrity of the clip anymore. A hundred-fifty dollar pen semi-ruined.

Initially, I intended to return it, but I'll see how it is after stretching the leather.

This was my second purchase of a DiLoro leather pen case. My first was for 2 pens and I needed one to carry just one fountain pen in my purchase. (I'm fussy) This arrived and the color was ok, sort of a dull red. BUT the thing was...
Hard to put the pen in the case without shoving it in and then the flap I could hardly insert under the thingie that was supposed to hold the flap down. I actually gave up trying. In my opinion this would not have been a quick process to get the pen out of the case to sign something and then try in put it back . I returned the case. I'll make one out of velvet instead.

Scratches Pens! Don’t buy

Will immediately stop use of these cases. They use soft leather on the flap but the other piece of leather is thin and rough and has been unknowingly scratching my pen. I have an irreplaceable pen and am not happy.
I highly recommend NOT buying this case unless you don’t mind vertical scratches on your pens.
