***Updated 12/5/14: I finally lost one of the two tees a couple of weeks ago that I originally bought nearly two years ago. The one I lost was the one I usually used and it never broke (worked just like when I first got them). I think I lost it because the ground was a little soft and I probably didn't push the anchoring tee down far enough to insure that it wouldn't come out. Still love these tees and use them when hitting with my driver.
I came across these tees one day while golfing with someone who had one. I thought it was an ingenious design because the par 3 tee anchors the tee and keeps you from losing it. I use to use the oversize Brush-T, which I really liked because when you tee it up it's always the same height and they were reusable (no more broken wooden tees), but the problem with the Brush-T was that it would start losing some of its bristles after a few rounds, becoming unusable after maybe 20 rounds, and sometimes you would lose the tee if it flies out of the ground on your drive. So the Koviss tees solve those two problems since there are no bristles and the anchor keeps the tee in the ground. I hated losing a brand new brush-t. The 2 1/2 inch Koviss tee is about the same size as the oversize Brush-T's (they are the orange ones for those familiar with Brush-T) that I use to use so it's the perfect height for my driver. The Koviss tees ship directly from Koviss which I think is located in Korea so you may want to buy a few at a time to save on shipping cost. I'll update this review later as to how long the tees last if and when it breaks.
