I can understand now why the model they used for this raincoat never buttoned it up, you can't really walk when it's completely buttoned, I suspect if you're on the thinner side you'd probably feel more comfortable in this coat, that being said it does work if you're on the taller side, ie 6ft or less
it looks like it would fend off the rain really well, but I never tested it
I think if you were to wear this in the summer, you'd probably sweat alot, but in cooler temps it would work great, I wasn't a big fan of the feel of the plastic though, but I guess if you're wearing a long sleeve shirt you wouldn't really notice it
