While this is a metal bowl and much more durable than other materials, it is still prone to breakage if dropped repeatedly. A small crack developed towards the top of the bowl which actually let water in. You could hear it swishing back and forth... and I'm sure it's only time before mold develops.

I think the types of baby plates and bowls that are 100% silicon have a little more suction power, but they absolutely stink of dishwasher detergent after just a few washes. I would never want to eat off of them! These are great because they retain absolutely no taste or smell. No worries about dangerous chemicals. And the suction power is really good enough. Highly recommended. Also the spoons are really nice too!
I was very excited for this, but stst using for a few months not so much anymore. Can't put the metal one in the microwave (duh) can't put the wooden one in the dishwasher (we tried and it cracked) suction doesn't stay on bowl well, And doesn't suction to plastic placemat or wood table well
Absolutely perfect. Our 16 month old uses this bowl a couple times a day. She hasn’t figured out the suction tab, we keep it on the back side so she doesn’t see it. I love the steel. The suction hand removes for quick washing and pulls back on in a few seconds. Very pleased with this now for 3 weeks now.
My 2-year-old eats scrambled eggs and cereal out of it. The bowl has a nice removeable suction ring that keeps it stuck to the high chair tray so he can’t throw the bowl in the floor. Once or twice he’s gotten it unstuck, but it generally stays put even with him hitting it with his cup. I’m pleased with it and will probably buy a second one.
It has a lid too but I haven’t had the opportunity to use it yet and can’t comment on its functionality.
