NO WARRANTY SUPPORT. It carried a camera once, then lost a screw and fell off by itself.

Extremely glad I didn't trust this with my camera. It's held my camera exactly once. After that, it was just clipped to my backpack strap with no load at all, and somehow managed to have a screw work its way out. It fell off at the DMV. Contacted Peak Design a week ago for warranty support, and NEVER HEARD BACK.

I suppose I should be happy the camera / lens wasn't on it and just cut my losses while I can; I wouldn't trust this with expensive equipment I don't want to drop, and since its purpose in life is pretty much holding expensive equipment you don't want to drop...well.

Do not use with a full frame DSLR! Screws come loose

The product is well made and looks great however this did not work well with a full frame camera like the Canon 5d. I used with the pro pad stabilizer and was very excited to try it out on a wedding however was very disappointed. The clip constantly had to be tightened as the screws were coming loose which made me nervous considering there was $5,000 in equipment attached to the clip. I also had to get the allen wrench out and tighten the camera plate as that started coming loose, but at least I only had to tighten the camera plate once.

When using the pro pad it was very comfortable however the pad kept hanging down and did not stay snug by the belt. I was using a utility belt which was very stable however the pad was pulled out and down by the weight of the camera, lens and flash. I decided to remove the pad and place the clip directly on my belt which was much more stable than using the pad however then the end of the tightening screws were pressing into my waist which was very uncomfortable and after 7 hours of wearing the camera clip I removed it and went back to a shoulder strap, I still have a small bruise on my hip from the wearing this 3 days ago. Even when attached straight to my belt the screws kept coming loose and had to be tightened a couple times an hour.

I was hoping this would work well because I liked the idea of a clip I could use on a variety of things such as a backpack, camera bag or belt but the clip would not fit the strap on my Lowepro 250 slingshot edge as the strap is too wide and attaching it to the bag with pro pad the camera was not very stable and was swinging around.

I gave it 2 stars as the build quality is good and the product looks nice. I would say if you have a small point and shoot camera or a lightweight dslr it might work for you but be very cautious about the fact that the screws constantly come loose as you camera could come off it you don't remember to tighten it every so often. I definitely would not recommend this for anyone with a full frame camera or any camera with a heavy lens.

I purchased this thinking it would compete with the spider camera holster as the spider is higher priced but if you are debating between this and the spider for holding any type of heavy or professional camera equipment, go with the spider or spider light.

Purchased this product to carry my camera on a strenuous hiking/photography adventure in Africa, searching for gorillas. I wanted something that would allow for easy camera access and allow me to keep my hands free.

On the first day in the bush, despite following the instructions, one of the “trusty” screws unscrewed itself and fell out causing my camera to fall to the ground. Thankfully, the camera was undamaged, partially because of another PD product that I used to cover it and because it landed in soft mud and vines. This photography adventure could have been ruined because of a design flaw on day one.

With one bolt lost, this product is completely useless.

I own five PD products and will never purchase from this company again.

If you want a product to show off your gear and look cool but you will never do anything worthwhile besides stand around, then this is the product for you; however, if you plan on going to exciting locations and NEED a product to work as designed, I would most certainly look elsewhere.

What a shame.
