Full disclosure: I don't know how well this product works because I just found out the hard way that I can't use it.
But at least I learned why:
This digital pen is powered by EMR. Simply put, the device you're using it with is supposed to power it. This means you can fit a lot more tech into this little guy and still have it be light as a pencil, since you won't have a battery inside, weighing it down. This might also explain why it was even cheaper than my previous digital pen (even though this guy has more than twice the pressure sensitivity!)
SO, unless you have a device that will wirelessly power it while you're using it, IT WON'T WORK.
For instance, let's say you own any of Microsoft's Surface computers, it's not going to work on its own, even if it's technically "compatible with Windows 10 products," you'd still need a Wacom tablet to power it.
Just wish I'd have known that going in. Somehow, I never saw that in the multitude of articles, reviews, and product descriptions I had read, going in. Hopefully, if you're curious but naïve like me, you'll see this first.
