I got this to replace an ear hook headset.

I’ve always liked Plantronics stuff, so I am glad I like this since it is over the head.

It is very light and comfortable for many hours. Sound is great. I mainly use it on Discord.

In my opinion it has good sound quality for music. Granted I don't listen often but I still had to test it out for overall value in that area. I do use it a lot for voice chatting online and the reports I am getting from those I have spoken with are all quite good.

The cord is a good length being long enough to allow some movement, but not so much it gets tangled up with other things. I haven't installed the companion software the company suggests an do not plan on doing it either as it suits my needs fine as it is right out of the package.

The light for muting the microphone is nice and bright so even easy enough for me to see. It is well worth the money and in fact I will most likely get a second pair if for nothing else but to have as a spare. It has been my experience over the years often times when I want to replace an item it is either no longer made, or out of stock.

Sound is good. Doesn’t get quite as loud as I’d like for volume but I’m again I need louder volume on a general note personally. Mainly purchased to exclude background noise of kids and sounds in background while on calls and it works well. Usb works great and it’s plug and play. No connection issues at all.

Downside is that the ear foams are coarse and can get warm which I don’t like so much. I am hoping to find some more comfortable and cooler earfoams as they are not the most comfortable for long term use.

Fantastic for regular phone calls, but once you try to receive an incoming call, something about the software messes up your headset and turns off the sound. You have to keep turning on the sound. So great for normal incoming calls, but not if you have complex online software for a call center. I want to find a headset that will work for that and not deactivate the headset. Very scary when it happens!

Bought these as a backup for work. We use the 3225 model in office, and this 3220 is almost identical. It allows me to leave this one for when I'm working at home and not have to carry the work headset back and forth. It's essentially identical to the 3225 except for the open foam earpads (vs the 3225's enclosed casings). This model is also "stereo" vs "mono". Not a big deal for meetings and phone calls, but it's nice if I decide to use it for gaming or music at home!
