4.0 颗星,最多 5 颗星It works! But it is a CASSETTE player. So it hisses. Okay?

This thing works exactly like the old shoebox tape recorder I used to use to tape things off of the radio and TV back before VCRs, because I'm THAT old. I wanted to make my girlfriend an old school mix-tape for Valentine's Day, and this thing did the trick. The USB input doesn't do a damn thing as far as I can tell, but using a standard male-to-male audio line-in I was able to put together the mix straight off of my phone. Is it great audio? No. Not even close. But if you're going analog, you obviously aren't fanatically concerned with crystal clear sound quality. So, hey, it works, and Valentine's Day is saved! Yay hissing!
I bought this to make my sister's mix tapes for X-Mas. There is something about mix tapes that are unique and cassette tapes is the only medium that it really works on. Mix CDs, close, but not the same. The songs need to be listened in order.
First remember - this is a tape player, so the sound is not as good as other mediums. cassettes are the worst sound quality. This is not the tape players fault. Hence me grading it an 8. It works as well as expected and for 30 bucks I cannot imagine something sounding better.
The built in microphone does not work well. if you are buying this to record your voice memos, you shouldn't. I am not going to ding my score based on this.
The line in - This works well. The quality was decent when recording from my phone. There are a lot of variables in play here. The best thing to do is max your volume when imputing. Remember, your cable has a lot to do with it also moving around ect.
Why I gave it 5 stars. The USB jack. Despite there being absolutely no documentation on it, once I figured out how to get this to work perfect and I decided not to give it a 1 star and return it.
The way the USB works is. Put your songs or what you want to on the USB drive. plug it in. Put into USB mode. It will play the audio files on your USB. Sadly, it doesn't transfer the meta data, but remember, it is an analog cassette tape.
temper your expectations to that and the product will suit your needs, especially if you are making mix tapes.
finally, my wife's old mix tapes play wonderfully on the device. Line out works great if you want to transfer them that way, however I think there are better methods to export mixtapes.
First of all, I received this product used. I know because there was a note in the box that says "Buttons are hard to press. Please return and refund to credit card." That's fine, but I just paid for a new one... So when I open the box and try to do a line-in recording from my iphone to a blank tape, it goes all static and then won't even play or record via line-in, USB, OR the original tape. I bought this to replace a broken TASCAM studio recorder but I will be returning it :/
Bought this new recorder for my 86 year old mother to record our family history. She recorded for two days then tried to rewind and listen. It hadn’t recorded anything. My brother checked it out and she had done everything right! He said the internal microphone was bad. What a piece of crap! What a waste of time, my mothers! Thank you for nothing! All we wanted was a simple recording devise to just record! It’s crap! Don’t waste your time buying!
