Pros and cons please read. I bought these bc I am a tech support for several hospitals and need a good bluetooth. Only had for a few days but.... 1st off I was driving to work going 40mph with my window down when my mom called me. She said "well I guess your already at work" I asked why and she said "because I don't hear the wind or traffic ". Feq days later I'm going down the interstate going 60mph with my window cracked about 2 or 3 inches (enough to hear the wind sound) my mom said "it's kinda early for you to be home ". Told her I was driving down the interstate and she thought I had my windows up. Now the batter does not last as long as my old Samsung flex. However I let the battery drain and plugged them up with the cable provided to use them as wired headphones.... works with a dead battery which is awesome I have talked to my son and my sister in different environments and both said they could not hear the background noise. I use my headphones all day for shows, media, or music so I can say they last a solid 10 hours. Anything after that I use the provided cable for a wired headset and still get the call quality, audio quality, and mic quality. My customers even asked if I moved my office for "on call" bc they don't hear anything. Personally I wish they had better battery life but the fact I can turn them into wired headsets after the batter dies is amazing and very helpful. I will deal wit shorter battery for that.

As an self-proclaimed audiophile, I don't get why there are such good reviews of these headsets. I tried them because Bose QC30 are just a cash grab scam cooked up by Bose to keep buying new headsets annually as they break on schedule. The music quality is so far below Bose, I can't use them and will be sending them back. NO LOW END WHATSOEVER?! Bose may be pure garbage, but it sounds so much better. It's really sad, I wanted to like these, I played with the settings for HOURS on the poor excuse for an Android app. I can't knock the app too much, because it dwarfs Bose's app in comparison. That said, most of what's include is worthless, especially the equalizer. Over the weeks I used different apps, different phones, different operating systems (computer) and it's all the same. Mediocre to terrible bass. They keep coming out of my ears despite the tip type and size. They don't seal out sound well, so the noise cancellation can't do it's job. For that reason, the noise cancellation was very poor in comparison to Bose garbage. Once again, very sad.

It's great most of the time but there's a few major flaws

I've owned this headset for several months now and I run a lawn care business so I use these all day everyday. First off the pros: sound quality is amazing and very clear, the battery life is better than advertised and I can easily get through a 16 hour work day of full noise cancelling and nearly continuous use. Bluetooth is great and always keeps a stable connection up to 30 feet away. The cable storage feature is nice and I've even gotten used to having the buttons on the headset instead of on a remote. The earbuds are comfortable and my ears don't hurt even with having them in for hours on end. The noise cancelling is great and works better than OSHA approved earplugs. Having Google Assistant to read my texts and notifications is very helpful for me since I can leave my gloves on and text people back with my phone still in my pocket. Also the app is really nice for setting up the headset to meet your individual needs as far as noise cancelling and adjusting the equalizer just how I like it.

The cons: these do not do well in the wind. They somehow magnify the sound of the wind unless you have something covering them like the hood to a jacket. The microphone isn't great and people often have a hard time hearing me when I'm on the phone using the headset. Also the battery level on the app isn't accurate and the headset itself only tells you low medium or high for the battery level. And the headset dies at 20% battery life. There's also no warning the battery is getting low and the headset quits playing music then says "please recharge headset" and dies.

All in all this is a great headset and worth every penny and I would certainly buy again, just hope Sony will address the wind issue, microphone issue, and battery life indicator

Comfortable, poorer noise cancelling ability and poor battery life.

I bought it because of its size for use during long distance travel on the plane, eg I could sleep on my side without the bulky headphone getting in the way.

Compared to my Sony MDR-1000X, the noise cancelling ability of this headset is a distance poorer away, but got to sacrifice that for comfort. Battery life is about 3 to 4 hours, probably not enough to last a long flight journey.
