I have worn these twice; once to work in an office environment where I sit for 8 hours and today on a trip where I walked through a few airports and sat on a few planes for a total of 6 hours. The inside of the thighs is all pilled and snagged and basically worn out. It looks like someone took sandpaper to them. These are big on me and my thighs don’t rub together. Even if they did, 14 hours of casual wear should not ruin them.
The fit is really weird- the front pockets do not lay flat when the pants are on and makes your hips look big. They are too big in the thighs and taper oddly (and tightly) near the ankle making them look like patachute pants- except not cute at all.
I have other A Byer pants that I love. These are a different material than my other pairs. The fit is different, the quality is definitely different.
You can see in the picture the worn out portion (in red) compared to the front of the pants that are not worn out (in blue).
I don’t expect a cheap pair of pants like these to last for a few years or anything, but I certainly expect them to last more than 14 hours. These are going into the garbage.
