So here’s what happened: I have a highly customized Harley Super Glide. My wife loves to ride, but she was miserable riding on the back of that bike. And I don’t blame her, it’s a hard ride. So she started talking about getting something more comfortable. Well I do love my wife, so this spring I went out and got a bagger. A 2014 Electraglide Ultra Classic. Sweet ride.
Anyways, her 50th birthday is coming up next week. Instead of a party she wants to just get away from home for 3-4 days, just the two of us. So we’re going to Block Island and we’re taking the bike. Now here’s where the problem comes in. My lovely wife is an overpacker. lol. Not gonna work on the bike, even the bagger. But I’m trying to give her as much space as I can. So I got this and some packing cubes. Bam! Like magic. We did a dry run and somehow we fit everything she wants ( I even got a tiny bit of room), and there’s even some extra space. Amazing.
So very long story longer, she loves it and is now planning the next trip, and we haven’t gone on the first one yet!
Yeah, yeah, I’m wicked long winded. Sorry.
I am also a motorcycle camper. Solo. Oh my gosh, I can’t believe the amount of stuff I can take now! lol
I got mine “used” for $100 bucks. Incredible. It’s Kuryakin. Been using their gear for many years. I trust it. Very good material. Solid zippers. Serious stitching. Tons of room and lots of pockets. Comes with its own rain cover. It has good quality buckles and straps to attach to my luggage rack, and I also got a bungee net for extra security.
Listen, I know I tend to go on too much, but this is a very, very nice piece of luggage/gear. I see it getting lots and lots of use for many years. I’m extremely happy.

Update: cause the review wasn’t already long enough! Anyways, we just got back from our first trip using this guy. Works like a dream. I attached using a couple of Rok straps and a cargo net, and it stayed put perfectly. Even when the ferry we were on hit a big swell and the bike fell over on top of me!
When we got to our Airbnb, just unstrapped it, grab it by the carry handle and carry it like a piece of luggage. We had perfect weather and didn’t need to use the rain cover, but if that time comes? I’ll update again. Oh no! lol
