Pretty? Yes. Instagram Mom worthy? You bet. Totally overpriced? You betcha. I 100% get not wanting to use plastic. We are a non-plastic toy household. But if you are willing to use a spoon made of silicone then why not use a plate made of silicone which will cost you far less? But if you got the money to spare then YOU DO YOU MAMA. Don’t let anyone rain on your wood plate & bowl loving parade. If this is for your little one who is just starting solids you will need different spoons because these spoons are waaaaay to big for a small baby. They are very much toddler spoons.

1st of all , I bought these with my own money..
I have a almost 6month old that started solids it's a very exciting stage because I always wanted to be the one to make home baby food.. so I went out to get baby bowls and didn't like the selection of baby spoons out in the stores Went on amazon ,founds these ..loved how they looked and what they were made of. At 1st i thought they were too wide for my baby's mouth BUT to my surprise he seemed to eat out of them much better then the thin store ones I got and out of a straw I was using due to him not really liking the stores thinner spoons maybe because they were a bit more harder plastic
He loves the colors and he remembers them and gets excited and knows when is feeding time when he sees them
After feeding him I sometimes let him chew..play with the spoon, but supervised of course because it's a 2 pull a part spoon. Even though it's really hard to come apart when just playing with it, but still can't be too careful.
The only bad thing was the Silicone tip of the spoon smelled bad.. but what I did was soak just the tips in hot water and dish soap 2x.. then just hot water n a bit of vinegar. .that helped n no longer stink like that very new plastic almost like nail polish remover smell..
Anyway I would oder more maybe down the line as he gets older to replace the old ones. I'm a 1st time mom And I'm always looking for any products like these they are the top choice for me and my little one...by the way Loved the whole bamboo part..its thick and makes it easy for him to grab it and one day feed himself :)

Love the spoons. Had bought a two pack several months ago when I started baby lead weaning with my six-month-old, and like them so much I got a full five pack. Thick food sticks to the silicone of the spoon allowing babies who are trying to self feed to get the food there mountains with minimal loss. Perfect for yogurt. Helps babies learn how to self feed. A little bit big for the mouth until baby was one year old.
I was under the impression the silicone still separates from the bamboo so I was a little disappointed that mine did not have this feature (I'm a germaphobe). Other than that they appear to be nice, well-made spoons from what I can tell. To me it's the peace of mind that my 23 month old's old plastic spoons are not releasing toxic chemicals into his body. The mouth piece seems a little big for what he's used to as well but that is something he can grow into although I'm curious as to how they could comfortably fit into smaller babies mouths for feeding. I haven't had them all that long and my little one handles his food with his old spoons much better but again, that is something he will learn to adapt to. I like the spoons but thought pretty overpriced. I will update my review if anything significant changes to add or delete a star.
I actually purchased this for a friend who requested "spoons" as a gift. Her child, like most tends to use the spoon as a teething device at the table. These were a way better option for the teething toy option than others since it's non-toxic and soft on the gums/baby teeth. Also it's rather wide & handles are short so they can't gag themselves as easily, nor wack someone with it from the highchair.
