This jacket has everything I need without all the extra nonsense I don't. The fit is true to size. I am 5'8", 200 lbs with a muscular build. The large fits me perfect in the chest and arms. The waist has adjustment straps on both sides to snug the midsection and give you that "touring" look. As a reference, I have mine adjusted all the way in. The stitching is good quality. I don't think I had any loose threads to cut or burn. The vent placement on the front works out well, even if you have a large windscreen and fairings on your bike. As the vents are near the armpits, you still catch some of the wind that goes around the windshield. The best part about the front vents are that they vent straight into the jacket UNDER the waterproof liner, unlike most other jackets in this price range. So you can feel the air moving through. Unfortunately the rear vents are the standard "outside the liner" style, but still help to keep temperatures down a little. The armor that comes with the jacket is par for this price range, but if you feel the need, they are easily upgradable. I cannot comment yet on how well the "Drystar" membrane works at keeping the rain out in an extended downpour, but I will update this once I have had the chance to test it out.
