A lot of tab books are terrible, but this one is pretty well made. Of course it is a nightmare untangling Tony Iommi's weird phrasing--how does he make one lick sound so eternal, I cannot deliver it so poignantly--but this book lays it out clearly and most of the tabs are right.
They say, never listen to anything but your own ear when you learn a song, but this person had a very credible ear.
There is another tab book out there with a live photo of the band bowing for an audience: this tab book is poorly done, and as you listen to the song you will say "without a doubt this string of tablature was just written onto the wrong strings." This book thankfully does not have as many, if any, technical mistakes. Plus many books will lazily say "guitar tuned down one step" but that is not true... it is almost always one and a half, or C# tuning. This book says C# when it is actually so.

Excellent tab book. Clear and easy to understand for rhythm and lead guitar. Highly recommended for those interested in quickly learning some Black Sabbath tunes. Written better than most other tablature I have purchased in the past. I have only been playing for a couple of years and this book uses the simplest power chords where appropriate, making it much easier to learn quickly. I am a big Black Sabbath fan and now I am a big fan of this tab book.

I've been playing guitar for many years, mostly classical but have gotten back to my roots plaging rock. Sabbath figures large in my rock influences and so far I've worked through War Pigs and find the tab accurate and clearly annotated. The infamous Iommi overlayed leads are there too and one can choose which solo to go with or combine them for an overall effect that emulates the recorded version. I haven't compared this tab with others so can't say if there are better ones out there.
