The second the new scratcher box hit the floor, Sunny was on it! He just kept returning to it & working it over! I can’t say how it will hold up for a long time, but after a couple of days of very frequent use, it’s barely “shedding” cardboard shreds. We didn’t even have to put the catnip on it. The size is perfect for our big guy. This was an excellent purchase for our cat & we won’t hesitate to order this product again when he needs a new scratcher box!

We get these as part of our Subscribe and Save service. We have been ordering them for years and just wouldn't order any other brand at this point. They are great and don't make a terrible mess like other scratching boards we have purchased in the past. All three of our cats appreciate these scratchers and use them frequently. They come in a set and have a small pack of catnip included to sprinkle on the top of the board. I would say with three cats, each scratcher lasts us about a month. But, once one side is worn out, you can just flip it over and let them scratch up a brand-new side. They really are great and I don't have anything negative to say about them.

If you, like me, are dealing with a cat that loves to scratch at your carpets despite having other scratching surfaces in the house these are the perfect solution.

I tried one of those sisal mats, nada. These? Took a day or two and some catnip (included) to encourage her but she started using it and hasn't touched the carpets since.

Be sure to have treats on standby to encourage them when you see them use it the first few times.

Only had them a few days so I don't know about long term durability but it's cardboard, my expectations aren't high, but buying new ones every month or two is still probably less expensive than replacing the carpets.

My cats love these! They use them multiple times a day and they really help prevent them scratching my nice rug.

If you’re purchasing these to help deter your cats away from your furniture, then I highly recommend putting these in the places where they wanna scratch. There is a particular spot on my rug that one of my cats obsessively scratches. I put a scratcher just generally on the rug and she still scratched the rug. Once I put the scratcher in the exact spot, she forgot about scratching the rug and she hasn’t done it in months.

This is the best deal that I could find for cat scratchers. I’ve bought this 3 times over the years and I always come back here to restock.
Once one side is trashed you can just flip it over and use the other side. And if you wanna sprinkle some catnip on it, the box will catch it all. Just be ready to vacuum up the little pieces of cardboard that will get everywhere.
